COBY VINCENT (Faculty, Company, Principal Dancer) is the Founder of Cape Cod Hip Hop & Jazz. He is also
faculty memeber of Atlantic Coast Academy of Dance. He has danced as a principal dancer for the Cape Cod Ballet Company
and has danced for the Oregon State Ballet Company. Mr. Vincent has appeared in commercials for Aetna
Insurance, Nintendo, and After School Specials on ABC. He was a contestant/winner for dance on “Star Search” and
an actor on a skit for “In Living Color”. He has also performed for Tony Tee’s Dance Project in Japan, and has appeared
as several Disney face characters in parades, shows and commercials.
TANYA VINCENT (Owner and Director of the Atlantic Coast Academy of Dance,
Principal Dancer) is a graduate of California State Long Beach University with a BFA in dance and performance. She was
principal dancer with Ballet Repertory Theatre and Company Dance Unlimited in California. Tanya moved to Cape Cod in
1999 to be principal dancer with Cape Cod Ballet. She is now the
owner and director of Atlantic Coast Academy of Dance. She has performed the role of the White Coyote in Martha Graham’s
“Diversion of Angels” Ms. Vincent has performed in Rachel Lambert's “Brahm's Variations” and Rosalind Newman’s
“Heartbeat”. She has also worked with Winifred Harris, Susan McClain, Janet Eilber, Jeff Slayton, Michelle Simmons and
Rebecca Wright. Tanya has received glowing reviews from Cape and Island audiences and newspapers for her performances
with Cape Cod Ballet.
